I actually wouldn't recommend tying knots in Fireline that close to the end when finishing off. I've found that tying those underhand knots in the work in Fireline results in breakage after several wears. Fireline is actually kinda brittle when tied. My experience has been that it will break at the knot eventually when close to a higher tension area like near the ends or at the fastener. I'd recommend working it back through the work until it's at or near the center of the work, maybe tying one knot and then going thru another bead or two, and then cutting as close as possible, preferably with a thread burner. I try not to knot with Fireline at all though. If you weave back far enough and go back around through a few beads right where you're going to end your thread, they'll stay secure and not break later.

Yeah these honeycomb bracelets look very different depending on the colors you use and I think there is something geometric and minimal about them that would be easy to give a masculine vibe to. Black and silver would work for sure.

Such a versatile bracelet!! Could you use wire protectors with the clasps? I'm just wondering if it would make them more sturdy.

+Anna Centanni You could. It may make it more bulky near the clasp. Also be advised that the thread, while strong is not the same as a beading wire.

When you say 6 feet of wire do you mean one 12 foot piece folded over to give you two 6 for strands or one 6 foot strand folded over to make two 3 foot strands. Thank you.
