I made one for a bestie and my kid wants one, too! Good thing it is stupid easy to make. The video explains it really well. I made mine a couple inches too wide out of not wanting to fold and measure and it was too big in the end. However, it’s a really forgiving pattern. Have enough fleece left over to make a neck gaiter and maybe something else. Thanks so much!

What length would you recommend for kids

I would leave the length (it is a blanket after all). But if you think your kiddos will be walking around in it a lot. Measure from their shoulder to the floor for length

Can this still be done if I don't have a zigzag stitch?

It can but it makes finishing the edge harder. You’d have to do a straight stitch along the edge. The zigzag finishes the fleece nicer since it doesn’t leave a lip and blends well into the fabric.

OK found it - the email has been sent to you. You need to open it and click on the big pink button to get the pattern - no click no pattern. If you still can't see it you need to whitelist [e-mail] check your spam folder. If you still don't see it you might have some software that is blocking my email - which I cannot control. Beyond that there is little else I can do - the email has been sent directly to you twice.
