Chilli cheese Fritos, flamin hot Cheetos scrappy instant beans, city cow jalapeño cheese spread, sommer sausage, chili sauce and crunchy Doritos over the top after it’s cooked. That’s how I always did it but this was in the 90’s. Great video! Edit: and obviously ramen noodles 😂

In Germany, people in prison are treated like people who can reform. Carrot and stick. For example, if someone enjoys to cook, they can get a job in the Jail-canteen. And if he's really serious, he can even get an education as a chef. Funded by the state.

For me here in Baltimore city, and when I spent federal time at Fort Dix, stirfry was the way to go, but if you’re feeding Cj, five people in the room like it is before you’re broke down until you get your own room with two people feral life is different than state life and state life is better than the detention centers, which they just tours down in Baltimore city!!! the biggest thing about this is you found your family you found yourself in as another person comment your past doesn’t define who you are today😢 it’s amazing looking at that bag knowing how many cards are made from different chip bags people don’t realize that we have to buy all that amount of food because they say we get three meals a day only two meals a week are worth eating, we need to come up with a bill of rights for convicted, felons, and people alike, can actually move forward in life instead of every time they want to do something to better themselves you’ve got people not gonna stay on because we were in trouble 14 years ago??? they want the world to be better but they don’t want the world to better itself and the people in it or they can do like they’re doing now and bring people across the border because it’s going to seal the 2024 elections because Democrats want to use low income people as their way of building a better whatever because it’s not better our government is what’s holding us back all of us I’m glad to see another person and another person and then a whole KZbin channel on reality and not made up reality. Maaaaaaan….. First and Foremost, “Thank you for taking the time to write all that you have!” Time is precious these days and more and more people waste it without really realizing it. But reading all that you wrote is heart touching because you know the struggle from the inside out first hand. And to recognize a person that was in a similar situation coming home and doing all that he/ I can to better the past and motivate the future is solid 🫡 reading through these comments on a daily and seeing the negativity that people leave behind baffles me cause it REALLY takes a person to experience something other than their norm to fully understand not all convicted felons are horrible. Some people make one simple mistake that’s costs them a fee the rest of their lives. So running across those comments don’t make or brake me, it actually motivates me! But yeah it takes people like us to speak on inside experiences shedding light on how we really live to help open their eyes and understand differently. Not only have we’ve started this channel but I actually go inside youth detention centers and back to the Department of Corrections to help motivate and let people on the inside know just because you’ve been out the loop/society for more then a decade plus…. You still got action out here and can come home and climb mountains!!!! If I REALLY BLOW UP FROM THIS UTUBE CHANNEL… I’m gonna definitely give back to those that are less fortunate and live their daily lives as a single parent raising babies/kids on their own due to incarceration! We used to do something similar to this on an aircraft carrier on deployments when I was in the Navy, we would make ramen with beef jerky and chips. I'd like to crunch up chips in a bag, put hot water in it from the galley, let it steam for a few, then put tuna with ketchup, hotsauce, and mayo in it. It's good stuff considering the poor quality of food they would serve us.

When I was in prison we used to make fried noodles in our rigged hot pots that were bought at commissary. We would use the crunched up noodles that we fried with butter we took from the chow hall along other stuff like onion, bell peppers, corn with summer sausage. It was good because sometimes you just didn't want to walk all the way to the chow hall. Anywho I heard they don't sell the metal hot pots on commissary anymore. Now they sell the plastic ones that all you can do is boil water in them, but they had the metal ones you could rig to get hotter when I was incarcerated back in 1991. I got out and never been back since.

I think they called them slams cuz they break up the ramen by slamming it on the floor is how they started that slang term and they would all pitch in and put the “slam or spread” on a clean trash bag and eat from it communally. No not that I’m aware of… but one of my buddy’s actually wrote a book and I believe he’s got it on sale on Amazon. I’d have to check with him via correspondence but if you keep in contact I can get you the info! But it’s a book with all his prison dishes and how to prepare them step by step. He’s actually still in there doing a 35 year sentence with a little over 10 in on it.

Swear 2 god Ive never been to prison but i eat this like i have been. i got some friends and family that have been to prison and ive asked them all what did they eat and they all described this pretty similar to one another as something they liked so i tried it and realized what they meant. it doesnt look like its supposed to be good but it really is!
