How to make a JUMBO SQUAD PLANE that can STEER and LAND - In Fortnite Lego

Best lego fortnite aerospace engineer ive seen on youtube so far. Leading the way. I started out trying to use blocks and inerta to stear but seemed to work terribly. These "glitched" blocks with thrusters work well but it is very resource demanding hopefully in the future they just allow you to attach switches to certqin thrusters and dont have thier dynamic plateforms glitch out. Great work!

Instead of using glitched blocks, try using the dynamic foundation but make sure it’s not connected to your ship directly (leave a gap) then place thrusters and a switch and blast it into the spot.

Everyone keeps doing the pillar trick, which is a pain. Lay down regular foundation pieces then box in dynamic foundations on top of that. The dynamic foundations don't "lock" to the top of other bricks when you lay them down.

Update, tried to repair a ship. Once the foundation is free from the ground, a new dynamic block will lock to it. Also, lining the bottom of you foundation with tires will absorb the shock of a landing. Trees can still "spear" between the tires and get to the foundation.

So you have bed, you place it down and you assign to the at bed. Now this is your new spawn point. To change the spawn point you have to go back to your ur original bed and assign back to it

Instead of having to place blocks to bring the plane down can’t you put less balloons but have thrusters below the plane to push it upwards because that’ll help with it going down on its own and how smoothly it can land(this is just a theory)

It’s really buggy with the independent thrusted blocks tho and it’s a hit or miss when they decide to clip out of the fences or just flat out disappear especially when u put the fences too tight. I also did a design where if u turn on one thruster and place the other while it’s on u can make them polar opposite to the switch to make a sorta side to side traverse machine, only issue is they don’t stay opposites when they’re both left off so you’d have to put another thruster down each time u use it but it has stable steering and movement until you have to stop

For the people that can’t build it because they don’t have the pillar, the reason it breaks is because the falling object must have something connected(like the lever)

Ok so when you have your building menu out, you should see on the bottom of your screen if your HUD is not too zoomed out. It should say hold R2 for example to use snap mode. I don’t know if R2 is the actual button. I can find out for you later on. If you can’t find out what’s wrong

Use small balloons instead of big ones and put thrusters underneath the plane so when u turn it on it flys and when u turn it off it slowly goes down

I don't know why when I build foundations on pillars, after they are destroyed, one of the foundations remains in the air until the second pillar is destroyed. This causes two engines to turn on when one lever is activated

yea but the thruster is gonna break through this build. i built an x wing and the flying dutchman. thrusters blew through after about 10 minutes of flight. the dutchman went through the earth so its gone. the x wing just goes straight now. lego fortnite sucks rn

It’s because the fences clip to the steering foundations and break the switches. So you need to put the fences further away so this doesnt happen

You need to break the two foundations and redo the drop method, if the switches still keep breaking, I would recommend just starting with a completely new dynamic foundation

@@KarotzaAU just make one platform over this thin foor gave it 2 wheels under the floor. Wheel should not touch floor, and then give platform few baloons and then wheels should touch floor and just put 2 thrusters behind and switch and watch how it can turn if you make any turn on its way.
