Hi Christine, thank you for this. I love an altered book and your paperclip system for marking pockets, etc. is helpful. Is there a reason you don't go straight to the middle of the signature, where the sewing is visible, and remove the double pages? This is what I have done and it means I don't have fiddly bits of paper left over to pick out with tweezers. The thread can become a bit baggy but I guess that happens anyway if you're removing pages.

I wanted to make sure I kept some of the illustrations that were in the book. But now that you mention it, it would definitely be easier to start in the middle of the signature. You’re a creative genius. Thank you for sharing that tip.

Hi Emily. I'm glad you liked it. Some people have commented that its a little difficult to follow. I did struggle a bit with this technique that's why I had to try it out on the first quarter of the book to ensure I had the process down. I'm going to redo this process and make sure I don't miss any steps next time. Have a great weekend. 😊

Hi Monica. I'll be honest. It was difficult for me initially, that's why I tried the system in the first few pages of the book. I'll redo the video in my next series, and make sure I don't miss any steps. I sincerely apologize for the confusion.
