How to make a Kete Whakairo - Rau Kumara /Whakanihoniho - Teaser

This is a short teaser and the start on my latest Video Tutorial on how to make a Kete Whakairo with the Rau Kumara (Broken Step) and Niho Taniwha/Whakanihoniho Pattern. This pattern combination is very popular but not as easy (or as hard) as it looks. I love your tutorial the one thing I find hard is how you close of the bottom of the kete could you possibly show me how it is done I have forgotten and didn’t think I would get back into weaving

I have a number of Kete Whakairo Videos up both on youtube and in our Weavers Circle Members only area (paying) where I do show the bottom close. This one also has it but only briefly but a few others I do go into more detail.
