I was wondering how this works for a s curve? I get so stuck in my head-and confuse myself-sorry if it is a silly question

I’m going to use a few garden hoses to lay out my s curves. But the use of chain and cord is brilliant! Depending on your “s” you could use two pipes but it may look like opposite “c”’s if you don’t get the right angle in the middle

Why didn't you just pre cut a string at the length you wanted and a solid stake. Instead of a nail and a tube and a chain and a tape measure and clamps....
