How to make a Leather Coin Pouch | Christmas Edition Judas pouch | PDF Pattern

In this video I show how to make a Leather coin pouch. This Christmas Edition Judas pouch is a remake of an order pattern I made. This time I am showing how to make it with hand tools and not machines....
I would like to apologize for not filming the hole punching... I hope you can figure this out. The lace I used to decorate the pouch is 3mm Kangaroo leather (65 cm).
I use these pouches as Christmas Ornaments and I fill them with candy.
Dimensions approx: 8cm x 6cm x 4cm

I love this little pouch! But as a beginner, I have two questions, please: - (1) Does the style of weaving on here have a name, and (2) Is there a standard 'times the length of the run of holes' to give required ribbon/lace length? Thanks for the great patterns...

Thank you! I don’t know if there is a name for this, but if you google “leather lacing techniques” you will find it. The lace I used for this project was 65cm long... I don’t count it the way you said. 😋

Do you just use standard double sided tape to hole the pieces together?

yes... it's just to hold the two pieces together. You can also use Leather Adhesive
