I found the best way to transfer a modular building to a MILS plate is just to build the durn thing on the MILS plate.

That is the best way to do it. For those that started building MILS plates after they've built a few modulars, they need to transfer them.

Personally I prefer the Moduverse system as it's made to be created with whatever bricks is available, but this works nicely. I wonder which system is most cost effective though

I’ve not looked too deeply into that one but will check it out. This one is very clean to build but is pretty part intensive.

This costs 36.27 € new on pick-a-brick, 24.33 € with used parts on bricklink. Plus delivery.

I have a question. When you built your mils plate, insted of using the 4x4 plates for the top, couldnt you just use the 32x32 plate that your mod is on? It seems like that would save a bit of time.
@blackbuddhaPA Жыл бұрын
The 32x32 can’t stick to the top. Like he said, you can use 16x16 plates to save time, but the 4x4’s probably add more stability.

If you just want to get your modular up to the same height as other buildings that are on MILS then yes. If you want it to be as rigid etc as in this video, then that won't work as you can't attach things to the underside of regular base plates that the modulars are on
@stephenjohnson445111 ай бұрын
I use the 16x16 technic plates and either put them on a base plate to get the correct height or just tile over the top to the colour you like

Nice. That would be a good and flexible option to be able to create with
