can i build it without modifying my parts and can it run slower than shown in the video ( i dont have the money to buy more cylinders if they break while being modified )
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop8 жыл бұрын
If you want to build it without modifying the cylinder the fly wheel will need to be geared up higher. Modifying the cylinders is real easy and you cant really break them easily so i wouldn't worry about breaking them. Just search it up on YT to see how to do it. Is you switch modded? Thanks

you need at least 10-15 psi with good flow to run this engine, it will run best on 30-40 psi. i am making a video on the air supply setups for LPE's like this. it is coming soon

Would it be possible to make an internalized pneumatic lego engine, similar to the design of a 2 stroke gasoline engine? (Air pushes piston down from the top, and escapes when it reaches the bottom)
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
not with the current lego pneumatic parts, good thinking tho
@joshjlmgproductions33136 жыл бұрын
Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop Ah ok. Thanks. (Also thanks for replying quickly) But ya, like what you said, I don't know if there's the right kind of parts made yet. What I was thinking was the intake and exhaust would use a similar brick to the valve bricks you currently use, except there would only be one prong/hole, and it would be a circular, hollow brick. The piston would go down a hollow 2 × 2 brick or 3 × 3 brick. (It would depend on the circumstances of building capabilities) Then it the air would exit the lower valve, and the cylinder would lose pressure, allowing it to return back upwards. (By the force of other pistons) Since there's no way to test this, theoretically, (after using an external force to initiate rotation) the piston (maybe 2) with the most pressure would force itself down, and as previously said, retire after the stroke, (That could be taken darkly out of context) and then repeat. It would have to work on an engine with at least 4 cylinders though, (Maybe actually only 2) as 1 cylinder cannot push itself back up. Anyways, thanks for replying man. 👍
