Thank you for sharing your amzing idea! Green Gecko, you are the best. I built it followed your instruction, and it works! However it is running very slow, coz my air pump is samll. I am waiting for your new ideas.
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, your engine will run faster with more pressure or more flow. try making a 10L air tank and pump it up to 60psi then it will run well, as you see in the video. thanks

Really nice! i tried making this and i didnt modify my cylinders or switches, i just lubed the cylinder, and would it be possible to use 2 12oz air cans to power it? There is quite a bit of friction so i wanted to make sure before i purchase the supplies. Thanks

I'd like to make one that is a Horizontally Opposed boxer twin (or four, or six, but starting with a twin seems like a good starting point). Any chance you'll do a "how to make a Lego Technic Flat Twin Pneumatic Engine"?
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
i plan to make some boxer engines, a v2 is not a simple engine. i would recommend building my non-modified 1 cylinder engine first. then you might want build other engines from there. thanks
@zonoscopePictures6 жыл бұрын
That is exactly what I'll do! thanks!

I just purchased the 1 cylinder Pneumatic Engine, is this the part I need if I build a twin cylinder version? "LegoPneumatic Cylinder with 2 Inlets Medium (48mm) with Yellow Top Item No: 2793c02" www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=58053#T=C
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
that part would work, the MOCHUB listing comes with a newer cylinder - www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=47224c01#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0} You will also need another switch and extra parts like T pieces, if you wanted to make your own 2 cylinder. thanks

What's the minimum request of psi?
@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop7 жыл бұрын
air flow is more important than psi, but around 10-15psi is the minimum and if you use my air tank design it will work great. sorry for late reply, just saw this comment today
