Hi Estella, the experience section can be empty until the internship. What you can do is to have a summary section, mention the courses, voluntary work and end with what you are looking for as a role (entry level HR Internship). The title (the one right under your profile photo) can be just ‘Student at ABCD school actively Looking for Internship in HR field’ and active the “looking for a job” badge in LinkedIn. It will create a colorful circle around your photo to take recruiters attention. One last tip: definitely update your “skills” section. I have a very detailed video on that too. A person, who is still studying and yet wants to start looking for a JOB via LinkedIn? They would be rejected at the very first screening, unless they had a line like "please, accept me for this job, I only have two months to live" in their CV. Why? Because an appeal to employer's mercy is the last thing that might actually work in case of a brave, still studying, job seeker. The other thing is, what that appeal would win for such a candidate. Out of my own experience back in the day, I can say that it's not much. "We're really sorry, but after a careful analysis of your CV, we decided to proceed with other candidates" - that's the more more polite answer, or "get lost and don't waste our time anymore" - as the previous line roughly translates into modern - day English.
