Men absolutely love versace crystal noir... they go crazy over it. And I get a lot compliments for Chanel coco mademoiselle too, it's more light and floral. These are used by many women but this also gives you the advantage that he will keep smelling you and link that perfume to you. If you like vanilla then Montale has a good one with vanilla too.
