Doesn't matter I guess, but for sure he has strong music theory knowledge. Not only that, he also seem to know perfectly what sounds and timbres will fit well together and meanwhile You can learn the theory I don't know if there's a way to learn such skill other than talent or huge experience. It would be awesome to get more educational breakdowns of those beats with some thoughts behind the sound and harmony choices.

I know this whole series is just meant to be a meme, but this video is just incredibly impressive… If I close my eyes, I do feel like I’m transported back to Minecraft. Chopping down trees, building a simple hut with one door and no windows as that yellow sun melts into the orange horizon. Nothing is quite nearly as simple and beautiful as Minecraft and it’s accompanying soundtrack. You did a fantastic job capturing that magic found in the C418 album.

It sounds like the Lena Raine 1.18/1.19 soundtrack, not quite C418. I like Minecraft, I also like music. So I've been criticizing new Minecraft music for a while. C418 emphasizes minimalism. On his website for the beta album for "Biome Fest", he states, "I do love minimalism and achieving tones with very few notes, and I think this song does that extremely well." You can hear throughout soundtracks alpha and beta the minimalism of letting a few notes ring for a long time, and he often repeats certain rhythms throughout the song which we can hear well on Shuniji. The chord progression here was decent, but there were too many notes playing, there are no rhythms repeating in the chord progression, and the synth was weird, so it doesn't quite feel like C418 in my opinion. Of course, music is subjective, but I'm simply trying to analyze the objective aspects of it.
