I watched several tutorials today regarding this mini potholder and found yours to be the most easily understood and easy to follow. I also like better how you used the one longer length of fabric to construct the pocket portion of this project. Thank you! This is a great stocking stuffer!

I am working at the 2018 Sew Along but interrupted my work to make a table runner for my doctor leaving on her pension. I am anxious to get back at my Sew Along that I am doing by myself, block by block, along with a little peak to the videos. Thank you for today’s wonderful gift idea for the holiday season. You are the best teacher there is and your cameraman in the pickle jar is very good giving just the wright angle for us to see precisely. Thank you. Roseline, Québec, Canada

She seldom answers comments. I'm going to try this method for double oven mitts. I'll do a top stitch all the way around and will quilt the first large piece

I watched so many other videos on how to make this finger tip hot pad and your video was the BEST! So much easier to get those rounded edges by doing it your way than cutting each pocket and main piece rounded and trying to get them to match up! Thank you! :)

I made 4 of these today. They turned out real cute. The only problem I had was turning them inside out. I had to rip out some stitches to turn them. But t worked out just fine. Thank you!

Love your Mini Mitt pattern and tutorial. Sometimes it's hard to see placement of fabric on the pattern and it's great that you do a video to go along with the pattern. Makes it so much easier to use the pattern and refer to the video.

I am so excited every time you post a new video! I learn so much from you! Fun to see you quilting on the boat! Did you buy a new machine or is that your "travel" one? I have a Pfaff Creative Expression 4.0 and I love it, when you sew in your studio it sounds just like mine! I have made a huge dent in my 5 inch squares this summer thanks to you, and watch and re-watch your videos on how to use them up! Thanks so much for how you make quilting easy to understand and fun!

Interesting that this channel is called The gourmet quilter yet she did not quilt these mitts. I do however really like this method better than the ones I've been doing. I just copied some my mother showed me and made my own pattern. With binding and quilting. Going to try this method instead I think it would be a lot even with some quilting

In the video you show the 9-1/2" fabric piece and the 9-1/2" heat resistant piece. Yet, after you've traced the template on the solid black piece, you do not include the heat resistant piece when sewing to the main piece. Very confusing, since if the heat resistant piece is included, it shows when you turn it inside out.
