This is a great video. Sometimes it’s better to have decorations hanging from the ceiling and the tables free. Knowing how to make garlands would make a party fancy.

As always well done, informative, and entertaining. Made many in my day. The use of a anti desiccant spray on the flowers plus bagging and in the cooler does wonders. Because at times we had so many feet to do we had to start on the bases a couple days earlier, than wire in some more delicate key flowers day of install. Excellent!

Such a pleasure watching you work John, another beautiful arrangement which you’ve explained so well, perfect end to my day! 👏👏
@maryannlane78105 жыл бұрын
I was echoing what you said about bagging the garlands. The anti desiccant spray was standard for corsage work, garlands, really anything you wanted to premake and hold in the cooler. Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, weddings, banquets you name it. We pre greened our containers for holidays. I’m sure you do the same. Holiday sales carried us through the slow times.

Beautiful thank you so much but how do you "bag it" ? What do you use and how do you store it ?
@FlowerJoos5 жыл бұрын
Yvette Willson thank you! I would just roll it up gently and pop into a large bin bag - anything to stop it losing moisture. Then pop somewhere cool, and label it so no one throws it out 😀

Hello! Thanks so much for creating such great content. I may have missed this in the video, but how long would this arrangement last out of water please? Thanks!
@FlowerJoos5 жыл бұрын
Lydiba this would be for an event - so would need to be created on the day. If all foliage then it could be made the day or two before, and then maybe add flowers tubed on the day. But it wouldn’t be a long lasting item, only for event work made like this.
