Very nice tree and a great way to use some pallets.

With pallets, you can just skip to the shaping of the tree right away.

I just made pallet trees. Also made the grinch tree where the tree is bending. You should try building one. It’s more fun lol thanks for the videos bub keep on keeping on merry Christmas

I made a grinch tree too, but the dimensions seemed off. I am re making that on now. I appreciate the support and Merry Christmas to you too.

@@cedarriverwoodworking I made my angle 30 degrees on the whole tree even the top where it bends, one cut 30 degrees and but the top part to it and connected the two together to get my bend. If that makes any sense lol love your tree videos. Got anything for Valentine’s Day yet? Besides hearts I can’t think of anything else. Guess I’ll be making keepsake boxes again this year 🤷🏻♂️😂

@@barryhalstead9299 I will see what I can come up with. I love making metal or glass flowers, but that doesn't much fit a woodworking channel 😂

@@cedarriverwoodworking it does if the flower sits in a wooden vase 🤷🏻♂️😂 I’d love to see some of your other work. So glad I found your channel. I thought you seemed like a real person and as a redneck from the woods of West Virginia I relate to your style of work

Quick question....would you get the same result (angles) if you cut the angles on the pickets while you were cutting them to length? Flipping the board on each cut and measuring long to long? Just curious. Also, do you know what angle that ends up being on the end of the boards?
@cedarriverwoodworking8 ай бұрын
Yes you could cut those angles on the boards independently, however it may be more difficult to get everything lined up correctly. I do not know what those angles are.
@lakeville1853Ай бұрын
Are all the feet cut the same lengths?

Yes they are.

I don’t think it makes any difference whether the star is a 45 degree or a 54degree. It looks good. Maybe if you had one of each stars, to compare. 👍

@@FounderOf4 I feel your pain. I often march right up to the service desk and ask for money off since the boards are in such rough shape, and they do comply.
@cedarriverwoodworking11 ай бұрын
You can see in the video that the 2x4 that I used is actually not perfect at all. it has a significant twist to it.
