I've done 2 of these with 3 strands. I start out with 2 then using a fid add the 3rd strand. These are in large 1 1/2 ball bearings. Very hard but if you take your time in tightening them they turn out very nice. Thanks for the tutorial!!

So I haphazardly made it through my first one with questionable success. Gave me so I dove in way over my head with three colors for my second attempt ever. It was probably as bad as anyone can imagine but to be real it was VERY bad. I kept fuxking up from confusion and frustration over wrestling three colors like an idiot!! So I ran it through as two strings all the way till the end and literally laced the third along the middle .

Do you use a formula to work out the length of paracord for the diameter of ball? How much cord would I need to make a knot using a 40mm ball?

Never use a marble. If it smacks against anything hard, the marble can break, and thenceforth shed small glass splinters where ever it goes. (Ask me how I know.) Use rubber, wood, steel, etc.

I go to my local gun strore and buy lead round balls made for black powder pistols and rifles. Sizes are more varied than most hobby shop wood or steel balls.

Clear instruction. But I couldn't close the Globe Knot after inserting the marble. Maybe I was using 275 Paracord which is thinner than the 550 Paracord.

what was the size of the marble? i cant seem to tighten it enough to cover the marble. any tips?

Sorry, I should have specified the size. You are probably going to need a smaller marble.
