DIY pen gun using a ball point pen. To make this fun office weapon
we also need an elastic band ans maybe some tape, so raid the stationary cupboard and see what you can make! Watch as it shoots straight through a coke can. Great fun for target practice.

You can make a simpler one with the spring pen. Just unscrew the tip, and take out the ink container thing and flip it upside down. Balance it on the spring before you close it. You should feel resistance. Once it's fully screwed on. Click the pen and the tip, Ink holder and spring will launch forward.

If you twist the rubber band around the pen before shooting it this will cause the pen ink cartridge to spiral making it more accurate and will fire straight for a lot longer.

This is old but I mean, it's pretty obvious. You can put several things in it for example, a rock or a small piece of metal tubing. So, if you shot someone in the chest with it, it could do quite a lot of damage. They don't want kids to be firing this around at eachother.

I had a much more simple modelz and it was way less effective. Basically what I did is I took the spring and the cap, put the spring tightly on a pencil, and pulled the cap onto the spring until the spring couldn't coil much more, and let go. It was very fun to shoot at my friends with, since it didny hurt. It was just inconvenient.

i did it different back in the day with the clicking pens. The mechanisms allow you to put the spring inside the shell and theres a dent (which is supposed to keep the pen out when clicked), acts as a loading mechanism so you can push the ink part down the tube and build up tension in the spring. then use the clicking cap to press down on the string. when it reaches high enough pressure, it launches the pen out of the dent (loading port). Very lethal and powerful. Stack springs on top of each other increase lethality.
