How to Make a Pixel Art D&D Map!!!

That was really really cool. I've tried getting into pixel art, but oddly I find it way more challenging than drawing normally. I don't know why. I just can't think or work in less pixels. I always try to add too much detail. It's an automated process of mine. If I could master the pixel art, things could go much faster on my end I'd think. Anyways great upload!

I get it! It's pretty difficult to simplify stuff down to its essentials. My suggestion would be to look at old video games and see how different artists from those times handled it. It's always super interesting to see the difference between NES and SNES games.

Oh man this made my day and reminded my of NEED for a new campaign.. this is such an incredible idea that I can't believe I never thought of! Doing pixel art is so Zen and I can't imagine a more clever use for it, outside of actual games.

I went to game design in college because of dragon quest. the only issue with going to school for it is not that this school is bad; its when a project comes, no one is willing to listen to others ideas. better to do it yourself... I never graduated, even though I had two terms left to do.

If you print it on an inkjet, unfortunately not. But if you hand draw the map with waterproof ink, you totally can!
