I was eyeballing this fabric and figured it would just hang with my yarn...turned out great and thread bunnies what a great idea.

Thanks for the tip on fixing a seam. I'll definitely try that as I hate using my seam ripper. Good info on glide thread. I didn't realize that it shouldn't be used for piecing. Thanks. Enjoyed your video

Great video!!!! Love your hairdo! Very funky! And your cats are gorgeous! Had a seal point Siamese cat many years ago, and still miss him! Will purchase some washi tape and the Essex yarn dyed fabric. Learned several new tricks for sewing. Thanks!

This looks like a cute and fun quilt to make for halloween (and use up scrap lengths of jelly rolls I have kicking around along with some fat quarters) But I also see this as an amazing fall quilt in burnt oranges and hunter greens and merlot reds and some golds. And actually around the stems, do some hand tying of burlap style ribbon. Ohhh Can't Wait to give it a go!! Awesome Video too!! And am soooo stealing that washi tape trick. Thanks

Great quilt and video tutorial, Alicia! I am really enjoying your "video adventures" ... not sure if the mistakes are real or not - but who cares ... i have yet to make a quilt that did not include a visit with my seam ripper. ha, ha. This is keeping it real. :)
