Since I haven't been able to go out for years.. THIS is my kind of pumpkin patch!! I LOVE it. For some reason this quilt has really touched me deeply. That is very unusual for me! Thank you so much Jenny. I honestly still don't think you realize how many lives you have changed and the hearts you've helped healed or those of us trying to heal. AGAIN, THANK YOU!! 💙

Peggy, so sorry you’ve been struggling with health issues. I’ve been struggling with mine for years too. The MSQC (and others) has definitely kept me going. There isn’t too much in this life, that I can do anymore, but I can still sew and quilt! When I can’t sew, these videos keep me going until I can again. And they’re great company when I can’t sleep. Which is every night! Lol. I Pray the future finds you in better health and romping through a pumpkin patch. Even if it’s just in a pumpkin patch quilt! Take care Peggy.

Peggy, Do you belong to MSQC Forum? I've made so many wonderful friends there. I too am chronically ill, and there's days I don't get out either. Jenny and her amazing tutorials. There's a video on YT that was made I believe with Jenny & the local TV station and she talks about how she receives letters and cards that people send to her and she was amazed how many people tell her pretty much what you have in your comment here. Each week I wait patiently for Jenny's tutorial(and yes, I get up EVERY Friday at 12:30 AM to watch the newest tutorial...honest!).....she's like a BFF to many, including me. She's amazing, funny, witty....and although the entire family is what makes MSQC....she is the heart of that business. I dread the day when MSQC announces that Jenny will no longer be doing the weekly tutorials.....I really do! (and I am choking up as I write this LOL!) As of late, Misty (Jake's wife ) has been doing some videos and I DO enjoy her tutorials.....she has a style of her own to her tutorials. Some viewers don't like the banter between Misty and Jake....but I think it's fine, it's just different than Jenny, and we all resist change, let's face it. Is Misty the "new" face of MSQC? Who knows, but whoever takes over Jenny's tutorials YEARS down the road (I hope) has BIG SHOES to fill..... Jenny you probably don't realize just how many people you touch on a weekly basis....but then, maybe you do(?). Your the best "Quilting Therapy" out there....to many of us. God Bless.....

I live in Northern CA and was affected by the four day power outages as I'm oxygen and CPAP dependent. We finally got power tonight and am back home once again (so grateful family living just and hour away never had their power interrupted). Saw this tutorial and it has re-energized me and lifted my depression. Thank you, you help more than you know.

Jenny, how refreshing it is to watch you in action! When I find myself stressing over the minor details which can kill the enjoyment of seeing something beautiful. Or cute. Or funny.. coming together under my hands I have lost the whole reason I began learning to quilt! Then watching one of your enthusiastic tutorials that’s filled with so much common sense helps me adjust that overly intense ME, take a deep breath and remember why I began my quilting adventure. Thanks again. Hope you keep track of your amazing life with your great sense of humor to maybe eventually put together a book full of your life’s adventures, loves and even trials and how that upbeat, positive common sense attitude helped you and your family through life. Joy is contagious. Just wanted to thank you. If I could possibly be at your Oklahoma show I’d love it. Health problems preventing that this time. Take care.

For me, it's the cloves. It isn't just pumpkin pie spice but apple pie and hams, too (well anything with cloves in it). Most recipes are very heavy-handed with cloves. Depending on the recipe I will cut the amount in half and sometime to a quarter.
@GeminiPeg5 жыл бұрын
J judy , nutmeg too.😖
@little19425 жыл бұрын
J judy I hear you on the cloves! My father made spaghetti with whole cloves when I was a kid. I haven’t been able to eat anything with them in it since. If a recipe require them, I use only the barest amount, and NEVER whole! 😝 And never in my apple pie.

Thanksgiving is just what we call it in the US. It’s intent is to be grateful (to G-d) when the main harvest was in before winter. It’s a time that has been celebrated throughout the world for thousands of years, under many different names. We call it “Thanksgiving” in honor of the Pilgrim’s who celebrated their very first harvest (in the new world, which is now the US), by thanking G-d for their bounty as a community with a prayer and a feast.
