HOW TO MAKE A PUMPKIN SERVING TRAY! (BEST FALL WOODWORKING PROJECT)

Cool project, my wife always asks me to make stuff for her and some of those projects make their way into my vids. I resurfaced a chopping board recently and used a bees wax and mineral oil finish for her. Plenty of recipes out there for it but you basically melt 1 part wax into 4 parts oil on the stove and it cools into a soft paste. Some people call it wood butter.

I need to get over and catch up on your chanel! I definitely want to try making my on mix ! It seems like a fun thing to experiment with, need to get a hot plate for the shop!

@@fakeitormakeit83 since it is food safe, I just did it in a cooking pot on the stove The wife did not mind. it was for her chopping board LOL Also you could apply it over the top of the existing mineral oil finish.
