Hi all!! I greet you with the most inviting and sincere hello to each one of you. What can I say but WOW thank you so much for the constructive comments and feedback. I am just amazed. I haven't been active on this channel since 2015 and I haven't taken the time to answer all of you- (no good excuse there on my part but time and partial laziness to finding the password to the channel -.- ) and now I am tempted to make another tutorial for you to benefit from my passion of roots reggae music. Now, I know this one is quick, simple and to some, non-informative/shallow. I would like your suggestions for a next longer video in which I would like to dive deeper into the details of how to get THAT reggae sound, with more concrete examples, a final upload and a complete mixed recording as reference. I would try to make it maybe 8-12 minutes long and explain the philosophie behind choices of common instrumentation, mixing (eq, compression, effects etc.) and the discipline of simplicity behind every good reggae tracks. I believe that it would greatly beneficial for you passionate people to learn and see how I get a fat stompy reggae sound, eand not cheap midi looped patterns (which this videos kinda was) with a simple home setup. What do you think? Overall, I would make it sound better and would take the form of a lesson. Give me your feedback :) Good vibes to all around the globe!
