How does this video have so few views? This is one of the coolest weaves I've ever seen. Great color selections as well.

this tutorial is what got me interested in starting weaving para.

My slings are 40 inches, which makes for a LOT of chord to pull through each knot. And, yes, takes me 5-7 days to do each, plus a lot of lost skin.

how much do you use for a 40 inch sling? i want to make one for my shotgun but don’t know how much i need.

Making this sling for a good friend of mine. Using orange, black and tan cordage. Great vid, thanks for sharing. Best looking sling I have seen.

That’s cool! I live pretty much anything that is in the sanctified line… I made something extremely similar to that a long time ago… didn’t know it had a name! I like to take the sanctified and make different centers to come up with different bracelet ideas… and just when I thought I had done something completely different here you come along and shatter it! ROFLMAO

I started mine tonight, using black baseline with red diamond spine and white diamond for the accent. it is coming along pretty well, once you get into the rhythm of it and get the pull it goes fairly smoothly. it is very time consuming, especially as this is my first weave, 45 mins and only 7 deep... but that is also with prep and fighting the lengths before I cinched them. Im sure Ill have more pace tomorrow, my biggest hurdle is my jig setup (dont ask...)

Appreciate the tutorials, very thorough, great content. Just wanted to thank you as I'm using this awesome weave to make a gun sling for my brother for Christmas. I added my own little touch to it and tripled up on the rows in the middle for a " shoulder" pad sort of look. I'd like to show you if you're interested Keep weaving!

I have made 4 of these so far and each one sold for $75. And yes it takes time along with dealing with my arthritis in my hands. P.S. I’ve even made dog collars to go with the slings.

This is actually a weave I came up with quite some time ago, originally used In my mantis bracelet for the first Knotgames and I called it the double covenant, it progressed to literally this exact weave and is now called the Ridgeback ☺️👍 I use it in many of my bracelets etc. I also have a doubled up version called the King Gatorback

You could get a set of swivel studs for a wood stock an mount it to your jig.

Love this may give it a try for mine. If I wasn't to use the adjustable part would u say 53 inches would be a good size of str8 cord weave??

Great question! We'll explain it below: 1. Thread your Paracord through the hardware coming DOWN FROM ABOVE. 2. Lay that SAME CORD over the CORE STRAND you just made with the working END pointing AWAY from the core. (In other words, if you're working with the left strand, the end should point left; if you're working with the right strand, the end should point right.) 3. Coming UP FROM BELOW, thread the cord back through the hardware by its OUTER EDGE. 4. Push the working end UNDER the cord you laid over the core in step 2 and pull tight. 5. Repeat steps 1-4 with the remaining working end. Let us know if that helps or if you need more resources!
