How to make a Ring from 50 Cent - DIY easy

I show you step by step how to make a ring from a coin.
Without special tools you can make a beautiful ring.
Your girlfriend will be amazed and you are the HERO.... !!!!

Am definitely going to try this technique. I believe it will only work for bands. I want to make one and have a band of goldstone chips or torquoise. Seen one on another Utube. I have learned to make rings from brass plumbers hex nuts. I have a bench grinder and a dremmel tool. I use a cut off disk to cut the excess material off versus a hack saw or filing. I purchased a high speed cylinder burr for the dremmel to remove threads or to increase size of ring. To remove excess material from exterior of nut I installed a felt polishing wheel on the bench grinder and stuck on a circular sanding disc for metal. Grinds the nut down in a couple of minutes. It is a fine sandpaper so ring is relatively smooth. I then use jewellers rouge on felt wheel to polish ring..I like how you use a bolt on a couple of nuts to hold ring. I have used a small screw driver handle in the ring to grind the first big amount off. II am making one flat surface on ring so cannot spin the whole thing. Looking forward to some other of your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice ring! One bit of advice though- when you're peening the coin out at the beginning, I think you might be hitting it too hard, which is what's causing it to get all bent like that. Light taps are all you need.

Becareful with nickle as it can cause allergic reactions. Try coating it with resin first.

The brass that doesnt oxideies and is malleable like actual gold but you have yot heat it first in order to not have craks

Unfortunately, the ring oxidizes over time and has to be polished again and again...
