Respect! All I have say! I was fortunate to found a relative cheap set for 200, which I saw in Amazon for over 400 US dollars. Believe it or not, I even used, in the past, a sewing machine. I used to flip the wood cover, set wheel on top, grab a chair, set the pedal on the carpet. The sewing machine was heavy enough to keep steady. It was perfect

@@daviddempsey2546 definitely not 150 but not 35 either. Also sometimes you can get lucky and get some free scrap stuff or even stuff that is bowed "which doesnt really matter here as you can cut the bow out" if you ask them which can bring the cost down.

My friend invited me to his house once to try his sim setup. It was similar to this and he had spray painted it black. He made it from the 2x4 pieces from those crates they use to ship things. We work at a body shop and sometimes big parts come in these wooden crates. He had been saving piece to build his rig. I thought he had bought it. I’ll give you a piece of advice that I wish I had taken back when I first got into sim racing - if you really like the G29 and want an upgrade, do it right. Set a budget and start putting aside money each month to save up for it, and then go all in. I went from a G29 to a Thrustmaster base to a used CSL elite and finally to a full Moza setup. I made some money back reselling the old products, but I would have saved so much if I had just got the Moza stuff all at once. Sim racing is an amazing hobby, and if you have a lot of fun and want to invest in a better experience, don’t just go for the cheap option, treat yourself 🤝

Some changes: junk yard seat, and use the slider underneath so your friends can get their seat right when they play Shifter and handbrake setup together. Or sequential and handbrake with h shifter back.
