How to make a simple quilted table runner using border fabric!

In this tutorial, Katrina demonstrates how to make a simple cross-hatch quilted table runner using border fabric. Perfect for picnics in the summer or setting a festive table at Christmas!
Katrina uses half a metre of Ruby Star Rise border fabric for the front and half a metre of the Bumbleberries in pink on the reverse.

I have to get out of my cave more. Never heard of Boarder Fabric. What you show is beautiful. Next time I can make it to a fabric store(2 hours away) I’m definitely going to look for some. I find I get a bit of drift when I use the quilting bar.

Hi Mary, Katrina says that this is indeed to prevent drift and she finds she's more accurate when she's got the lines to follow.
