This is how I learned how to I just used random transistors I found and it works! Bout the 50th time I’ve watched this video works very good!

Thanks man i found a diagram on the internet and it would not work no matter what i even soldered it on a perfboard and it still didnt work but your tutorial worked

Looks great, I saw you connected the led anode to the collector of transistor but connected led cathode to ground, what would happen if put the led in series in the circuit meaning between the resistor and the transistor collector lead ?
@DG_taoElectronics4 ай бұрын
Hi there! If the diode is connected in series with the resistor going to the collector the circuit won't work. That's because it relies on equally set values and by adding a diode after the resistor the difference just increases. Also by placing it in series electricity goes through the 1k resistor, from there through the transistor and to ground causing the diode to permanently stay on. But by doing that non of the components should get damaged so you could try it out and see how it behaves.

What transistors are you using?

Are you sure they are working? If you use a multimeter set to measure diodes they should have around 0.6-0.7 volts reading with the positive probe on the base and you measure with the negative probe on the emitter and collector. Also what model transistors are you using since the base, collector and emitter placeses can be in different order then the ones in the video.

electrocuted myself for the first time making this, not a big one or a painful one, I just felt some heat and a weird sensation, but other than that neat!

Wow you somehow explained how electrical feels!

I'm sorry to hear that you electrocuted yourself, but you should always be careful and check everything at least twice. The higher voltages and currents being used the more you should be careful. That aside I am glad you found my tutorial helpful!
