I have no idea how other people are finding this so easy. I'm ripping my hair apart trying to get the cords to stay put while looping it around lol

+Kathleen Thanks for saying so! Full disclosure though - I do have some videos where I added the info as popups because I was getting so many questions about where to buy the supplies, lol :) I definitely don't do it for most of my videos though - I agree that gets really annoying!

If you have trouble getting the string through the loop what I did was take a bobby pin stick it through the string then take the end of the string loop it through the bottom of the bobby pin and pull it back through (if that makes sense it’s really helpful)

Thank you this was such a great video. I did it eventually but I struggled for ages especially with shaky hands. I got confused and was doing it wrong as I didn’t realize you had to keep the short side of the loop parallel to the cords of the bracelet and loop over that too. Once I figured out you were doing that then it worked. I think lol I did it late last night. Thank you 🙏🏼

Perfect video! I own a jewelry making teaching business --unique, right? (I have been an adult literacy teacher and am a psychologist by education. So I had to learn how to be a teacher and one who could teach to an adult population who more likely than not have undiagnosed learning disabilities. I learned that you teach for every type of learner by trying to provide every different type of learning example ) and this was verbally and graphically great! I have been desperately searching for a tut to learn how to do this, as I have relied on others to teach most macrame knots. I have a fantastic kumihimo design that I have refused to teach until I have learned to make the sliding knot myself. I think that I am finally confident to roll out that design! Thank you so much! p.s. FYI...I didn't really expect to be teaching beading, it fell into my lap. How does this keep happening to me? Lol
