Thank you for the idea. I was frustrated with what is sold in the market, either with the price or the construction quality. I am going to try this. It looks sturdy and filling sand is a good idea to keep it stable with no anchors. I would put a 90 deg socket elbows on the two top corners that would turn in all three directions and eliminate the need for two

Can add a clean out so you can fill the base with sand . Use plastic zip ties instead of rope . Looks good but the one kid should get a yellow card

Could you make it smaller, like 3 feet by 3 feet? How would you determine the depth? If I make it smaller, would everything else stay the same except the height and width pvc piping?

Yes, you can adjust to any size and even LaCrosse specs. You will have to work out the diagonal rear support length to make it work. But PVC is easy to work with and cut. Good luck!

Why did you make a 90° outwards from the front instead of going straight back?

Good question, had to modify the original design at the bottom because there is no PVC corner joint that includes three directions.

Yes! Maybe by a foot or two wider, but it's not metal so the top PVC support could sag due to the weight, unless you all more vertical supports on the back side. Could also make a foot ot two taller. Good luck!!

Are your measurements for the finished project because when I cut my 6ft and 4 feet it made an enormous goal way bigger than yours.

Yes, maybe the elbows added 4 inches per side, but it was close to 6 feet. You can always use a pipe cutter or coping saw to cut the pipe and shorten two parallel sides and then add a coupler to splice together. Thank you for your question.

You can get to 6 feet high by lengthening the vertical tube and adjusting the length of the 45 degree supports. PVC comes in 10 foot lengths ( so need to add a coupler) and if you made it that wide, some of the horizontal bar could sag, but it's possible! Let me know how it goes!!
