Another wonderful clear tutorial. I always thought this type of bracelet was always loomed. I like this square stitch much better. Thank you!

Give it a try, Mary!! I think you'll enjoy it :-) It's about as mindless and repetitive (if you like that sort of thing - like me! hehe) as Peyote stitch! :-) -Leah

You're very welcome, Sue!! Some people prefer to eyeball, and sometimes I do that, but for stitch as regular as this a little simple math really makes things so much easier! -Leah

Hi! Ideally, as much as is comfortable for you to avoid adding new thread halfway through the bracelet! As everyone's wrist is a little different, the amount of thread will vary. A good tip is: don't add the end (i.e. don't make the first row the one with the Cymbal end) right away, and don't cut the thread off, in this way if you run out of thread, you can continue the bracelet in the same way going the other way, that is: make one end of the bracelet as you run out of thread and pick up the 'tail' back on the beginning end. Hope this helps!

Yes you can do this stitch with any size beads but you'd have to swap out this cymbal ending for one that designed for 11/0 beads instead. Happy Beading!

very nice. but what if you do a pattern that involves say, 10 beads across, what about the cymbal finding for that size? It is going to look weird. unless you have any other suggestions.

Hi Fernando! The Cymbals endings come in many different sizes and styles so you have a lot to choose from based on your design! You can check them all out here: www.eurekacrystalbeads.com/cymbal-findings/

Thanks for the excellent video!! I just ordered a loom but would rather not use the loom. Can I use 15 beads across in the square stitch and follow the pattern for my bracelet following this method? Thanks! 😊
