My favourite set and forgot method is directly into my soil mix, then zip lock bag it, leaving an inch open for air flow. I recycle all my old zip lock bags and plastic packaging for use in this propagation method. It skips all that pffaffing around with transitioning and keeping the moisture levels during propagation and initial transition.

It does have eastsouth and west windows. ok so I had a monstera albo wetstick and it now has 3 leaves ! I grew it out in moss lol. so about 2 weeks ago I changed it over to a chunky mix and now I'm staring at it daily 😂 I think I might be underwatering it idk the leaves look a lil limp what do you think ? sorry I know it's difficult without seeing a pic
@petevsplants7516 Жыл бұрын
Check the soil before watering again. it could also be root rot if it's been overwatered.
@MyLocsMyPlants Жыл бұрын
@Pete vs Plants ugh yea you're right im happy i looked at it !! I think i left to much of the moss on when I transitioned it to the chunky mix smh so I put it in a fresh batch and I won't water for a while 😂 I'm always overwatering

@@MyLocsMyPlantswe are all guilty of over watering at some point. I think that's why SOMETIMES people who just have a couple plants but don't LOVE them, have such good looking plants. We can tend to helicopter parent when we really love them. Lol. Hope your plant is still doing well.

@lindsey4178 Hey! yes actually it's doing amazing I can't believe this comment was 5m ago but it's currently standing strong. @@MyLocsMyPlants that's exciting! I've never had a full sized monstera before but I do have an adansonii and it's incredible. It qlso reminds me of my pothos. For YEARS I thought my pothos was happy in my kitchen window (green, no lost leaves, etc) until I decided to prune and move it to a high light area.....I had NO idea how big the leaves could get until now, and funniest of all, the sun exposure showed me that I don't just have a green pothos....its a golden pothos with beautiful yellow through all of it. Lol. Im so glad your monstera is doing well and love to see leaves bigger than the last. Lol. I'd LOVE a really large leaf plant. Also, I can't help but ask....where the hell does ur screen name come from?!? Lol
