Just got 40mm forstner bit yesterday (this size of bit usually out of the rang of any common set which goes from 15-35)... Going to build one tomorrow.

That's rite Moran I think I bought my 40mm on it's own. The t lights fit great in a 40mm hole.

Another great one! I have tried this in the past but the only tea lights I could find at the market were bigger that the 35 fosnter drill bit and it was quite dissapointing that they didn't fit! But it's great that you got it

Thanks Achilleas 👍 I had a similar problem to begin with although now I use a 40mm bit. The Tea Lights here are 38mm standard which gives a great fit.

@@PhillWyattProjects Some tea-lights are 38 mm, some 40 mm. Some not exact (bigger is a problem)

Looks great, but ss that safe without holders for the tea lights?
@PhillWyattProjects
@PhillWyattProjects 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Craig. When I buy Tea Lights I make sure that they have a metal liner which holds the candle. I would never recommend putting a bare candle inside a wooden tea light holder.
