Great video Mike. I looked for your blog in hopes of finding your sample board and the document but looks like your blog is gone. If you sell that texturing document, I'd like to get one. Thanks for the great lessons in texturing.

Not sure my sample board would be useful to anyone but me. I never posted it on my website. Sorry for the confusion. I do have lots of videos on texturing.

Really enjoy playing with the texturing tools on a turning. It can be small and subtle or large and dramatic. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us Mike. Take care, Dave

Another great video. I have a few texturing tools and it's great to add something special to a piece. My problem is knowing when to stop as sometimes I have done too much. Still you can always cut a bit off and start again 😝

Thanks Mike for this and the expanded videos on texturing. Very helpful. Do you by chance have a handout available that shows your storyboard examples with the associated production notes? It would be a fantastic acceleration tool to aid in making one for myself. I have had a little success in making one off designs, but even with notes I’m having trouble duplicating them from one project to another. Even using wood from the same log hasn’t been to successful, and using different woods - forget it, all bets are off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for the videos. Stay safe and well so you can keep them coming. Cheers, Tom

Great video Mike. One thing you did not mention is a die grinder from Harbour Freight. These work great. I like the ball best.
@MikePeaceWoodturning3 жыл бұрын
All I see on the HF site are 1/4". How do you accomodate the 1/8" burrs?
@jackthompson80193 жыл бұрын
@@MikePeaceWoodturning I use the 1/4 inch burs in the die grinder. I do not plug it into an air source, just let the wood spin it.
