Great stuff. Explained everything as you went and kept it a simple as it could be. Really great explanation all along the way as to what you were doing and why. Thanks for the tutorial. Can you emshow how you would spawn to a DSLR from first person so it looks like you are going into camera mode to take photos during a walk around, with controls for the other DLSR features such as DOF, FOV and LUTS etc?

I have my weapon set up already...so in my 'sniper rifle' actor, I just used a camera...and your code still works...mostly...i have a bit of a 'shake' on my shoot animation...and while scoped in and shooting the camera scope doesn't follow the shake...like it's not actually attached to my weaopn sockect? I messed with the location rule, that was not good and didn't work...I'll figure it out eventually tho...just a heads up to those who only need a scope camera... Edit: man it was my camera shake...I just had to unplug it for now...works like a charm after that...

also, when i aim/switch to the new camera, it doesn't aim to the same spot as my out of scope reticle...ie: I point at npc, zoom in, camera is zoomed in about 5 to 20 feet to the right or left of, or some times up from NPC ?

Hey, phenomenal video as usual. I followed the video pretty much word for word, but I notice that when I use the set view target with blend function, it doesn't function the same. For some reason, the new view target (from the weapon) is rotated like 90 degrees so it isn't actually showing what is in front of my character but instead what is on the left of him. I've made sure to check my camera's orientation and it is in the direction of the weapon, I don't know what else could be up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to figure out this one too. So to fic it, change your Z value on the Set Relative Rotation to 90. It should work perfectly as the default number is 0 and it make your character turning left.

@@ak-gi3eu You could maybe make different blueprints for each one, or when using that same scope, you change the FOV through blueprints upon loading the scope so that it has a different zoom level.

How exactly would this work if youre using a master weapon class, and the aim system is invidivually set for each weapon?

Get a Boolean in your master weapon for each guns. Opened individual weapon and check off the correct Boolean for this weapon. On the fire function, use a branch node and with the correspondent weapon Boolean you want to use. That way if it is the good weapon it will fire off the correct code. Otherwise it will go to the normal one. Work perfectly for my code
