@BillMakingStuff actually, I think I will. Putting it on my to do list. Your specific sense of humour mixed with the playfulness of your builds, story telling and editing never fails to lift my spirits. Like a matured version of old crafting programs on television, similar to Crafsman, but very much your own thing.

I’m torn. One of my favorite things about this channel is that everything you make, no matter if it’s a podracer, a tonk, or a scab, all tie back to the Gutterlands, BUT I’d love to see your channel stick around and grow into whatever it is you want it to be. You’re easily in my top 2-3 craft channels, and I’d hate to see you lose subscribers trying to court a bigger audience. You got to do what you need to do.

8:32 For real. If y'all can avoid cutting a can, do it. I was aware of how sharp they are (like a razor blade), yet stuck my finger inside the sip hole of a soda can that i had cut around, to lift the top off.. well, SLICE! Straight through muscle, vein, tendon, nerve, right to the bone all in a split second. I had to have it stitched up and couldn't feel anything for 4 months (thought feeling was gone forever, but thankfully the nerves eventually re-grew.) I don't mess with cans any more for any reason.

I don't know, what do you mean by being more trendy. If by that you mean making stuff like other crafting channels i.e. foam/resin, resin/foam or “I just made it from scratch by using my 3D printer” then no, I don't think that you should. I love your original ideas, and they are easy to reproduce with stuff that I already hoarded. Last time I made those desert rocks from one of your videos. One of the pieces even has an arch connecting two rocks. :D

I don't know if you've ever had this idea or if anyone has ever suggested it, but I would absolutely pay money for a physical published copy of an artbook of all the drawings and paintings from your sketchbook. I think making weird stuff that isn't necessarily related to whatever's 'trending' would be cool. Stuff that's 'algorithm friendly' but not trend chasing. So for instance using the techniques you use for bead bots to make a miniature inspired by a Xenomorph and Starship Troopers Bug hybrid, or Junk-Robocop.

The non-apeal to the masses is why this appeals to me. There are such few creators that dive into what the creators mey mind really looks like and I feel as though you do quite a bit to make pretty fun content. My vote is keep on keeping on with your current formula and maybe make some stuff like this but that is in a subject that appeals to a wider audience. AKA the look and feel of the channel is great and I love it even though I don't play many of the games you make stuff for.

I love tinned fish, especially sardines -I eat about three tins a week. If you were wondering, they are cooked - it's part of the canning process, so they are perfectly good to eat straight out of the tin. You could get something in a smaller tin, like anchovies, and use that tin to make something like a fast patrol boat. Just an idea. Pole at the front of a boat? That's the Bowsprit.

Honestly I would love to see you branch out a bit - not that what you regularly do is in anyway a problem, and not necessarily to appease the algorithm, but because you have such a distinct style that I would like to see it applies to other projects. I have a youtube channel, where I review cans of sardines (for eating). Most of my videos are just reviews of single cans. I try to create some kind of hook, but usually no one cares, and they do just ok. Every six months or so, I make one that I know will do well. I call it a "gateway video." These are harder for me to make. Often I re-tread ideas that my faithful viewers are already familiar with, but they tolerate it because I try to fill the videos with funny stuff. Anyway, this is a great video; you're a great producer and editor, and the stuff looks cool too.
