When I was a child, in our small town, all the guys would get together to help one another, but it certainly isn’t that way anymore, they don’t even help the women. It’s sad that is how it has become in this world. I know my neighbors because most of us grew up in our tiny town, but in many places, people don’t even want to know their neighbors, let alone help them. 😢 If I lived there, I would help Gary….just to learn his little tips and tricks and hopefully get a taste of Robbie’s cooking. 😋 😂

Looks fantastic! At 74 years young I still make my arches using 16’ long by 50” cattle stock panels. They are easy to walk one end over to make an arch and I attach them to my t-post. Attach one side at a time to a t-post,then walk the other end to make an arch. Put in a t-post to keep it arched. I do this by myself, and cover 2-3 arches with visqueen for a greenhouse, cover some with a tarp to park my riding lawn mower & garden items under, and also cover a few with a tarp for critter shelters. Love those arched instant everything. Been doing it that way for 40 years.

You would think places like Lowes and homedepot have a spray system in place to water morning and evening, on a timer, after all they have plants there year after year..... Gary is one of the work smarter not harder people❤ I am keeping busy converting 20 some t-shirts with regular round collar trim into v-neck, hubby hates regular collars and hardly wears them, but owns a large selection, to just hang in the closet. Enough I thought and sewing by hand it is. The more I get done the faster it seems to go😊

I can never get those T posts level. So I am watching carefully! My Dad was like Gary, very precise. Things had to be done perfectly! He is truly amazing how he builds the tools he needs! He thought of everything including fire protection! PVC Tubing isn't strong enough to keep the shape of the remesh. Many people show us once they are up. You finally show us just how it is done. It was very informative!

I live in NC. The last time we went to the local Lowe's a lot of the plants were completion dry. They either wasn't watering, or wasn't watering enough. Maybe the new medium doesn't absorb the water? Idk the reason, but it was appalling. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Gary put up your new tunnel. It's wonderful.

Fascinating to watch. Definitely gave me inspiration to do something like this instead of using the very pricey cattle panels that we are currently using as arches. When you buy those t-posts they give you wire clips to attach to the panels, but my husband doesn't like using the clips. What is the name of the kind of wire he is using? I also like how he used the pvc to measure with as a guide to use instead of tape measure. This would be a good little side hustle to make extra money. He could cut and measure everything at home then take to people's home to set up. Love his skills. Can't wait to see what you grow on it. It's gonna be awesome. Thank you for sharing.
