Hope your Channel keeps growing. Thanks Nattie up north for recommending it. I’m a local pond fisher. In 2 years I’ve only caught 3 bass but I always keep trying! Love my baitcaster!

Thanks for chatting with Nattie Luke I learned alot about different baits and how to work them, I dont fish for bass to often, but my nephew Tanner has taken me a few times and I caught a 3 pounder once, it was definitely a rush when it bit, my favorite fish to target is Walleye and pan fish, especially crappie, and using a bobber, there is something about watching a bobber that excites me

SERIOUSLY... I contacted Z-man about a mth ago about a chatterbait design that I think would really sell and excel, that's basically this exact same concept... they pretty much shot me down right away on the phone saying this isn't what the public wants... but I keep hearing about this same issue of weedless variations, and the major problem of hangups, then I see videos like this how to make them, even watched a video by Terry "Big Show" Scroggins doing the exact same thing... BUT Z-man ISN'T MAKING IT?!!! Obviously it's a necessary design that maybe needs to be considered put into production!

Thats the best idea I have seen,I am going to Lowe's a get some epoxy. I found some real thin wire that is really flexible. Thanks you just saved me a bunch of chatterbaits..last year I bought that Yagamto chatterbait with the extra swimbait trailers, it's that kit .I made one cast and it hung up. Felt like a fool to be fishing that spot. 👍😊

I keep it simple and use my little rod and good ol faithful nightcrawlers.I drive up to the local lake that's located in the mountains w my fam and friends watching the sun go down and most of the people depart as they do so nature becomes alive again and breaks its silence. I love listening to the water and wildlife feeling and smelling the cool breeze through the pine trees. Gazing up at the stars and bright moon thinking to myself wow life doesn't get any better then this what a blessing. Then it happens I feel a fish at the end of my line My heartbeats faster as I reel it in. I give the fish a little kiss telling it thank you then send it back into its waters. THE END lol Thank you for the info you provide it does help a person become a better angler.

If you don’t want to wait on the epoxy, you could always try the UV cured stuff by Solarez and Loon. Solarez started out being used to fix surfboards so it’s tough stuff.

Thank for the tips! My favorite is good old stick bait texas rig style. Preferably green pumkin seeds with chartreuse tip.

If I could only carry two baits to the lake with me, it would be a green pumpkin 3/8 swim jig with a streak of chartreuse in the trailer and a texas rigged craw

My favorite way to fish is in 20 to 25 ft of water steep incline drop points with plenty of weedy cover. I throw large lip crank baits with various patterns, the best for me include those with red blood highlights of color streaks.

I had the best day ever on a lake last weekend using a chatter bait. 15 bass and a few pike. My buddy was using everything but a chatter bait and caught only one pike. 🙂 I haven’t caught anything on a frog yet but that’s my favourite. One day, maybe next time out.

The best way for me on the Potomac river is worms and crank baits. I grew up in San Diego saltwater fishing. Moved to VA. Most fishing is Fresh water.

If only they built it on a longer shank and j hook at the bottom was bent like a plastic worm hook this could be solved by attaching your creatures to it. You wouldn't have the same action on the smaller paddle tails. But it could work maybe.
