I made a passive acoustic speaker for my iPhone out of walnut. It is made in the same method as a band saw box. The longest part was trying to sharpen my carving tools...

Who here just LOVES it when you have walnut or another dark wood and then you put finish on it and it just becomes sooooo pretty??
@gunthervogel97157 жыл бұрын
Number - X - Gamer Peter putting the finish at the end is always the best part, especially if it's a darker wood. It always gets from meh to woah in a matter of seconds. The same goes for when he does the wet sanding.

I like how you play the audio normal speed when you show sped up footage. You're the first channel on youtube I've noticed doing that... most others have music or a voice over or high pitched squirrel sounds.

I like it. :) I might have done things differently, mostly because to make an amplifying horn, you need to take into consideration impedance matching in order to get effective amplification. In this case, it seems to do more redirecting than amplifying, although that could just be the recording. If you want to see some really interesting and easy to understand explanations of how horns work to amplify sound, you should look up Ben Krasnow's video on youtube about horns and impedance matching: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJS2lGRsqdOJp80
