No automobile engine for an average production car is made in such way. This is pure precision . Many exotics are not even made in such way , oh yes. LFA , GTR , Ferraris and Lambos . Over $500K , maybe , but the rest .........?

The R5 rally cars are going for up to that $500K USD, and the actual top class WRC cars are nipping at a MILLION USD, EACH, before spares, extras, etc. 😉

By the way, in the eletric part, this LCD dash is for the GT cars right? Rally driver only have to see the rpm and the actual gear as i saw in many onboard video, they dont have time to push buttons.

I do have a ? What is the difference between the WRC cars and the Rallycross cars ? Does it use the same specs / power as the rallycross cars , of course I know the setup via suspension is setup different but what about everything else
@Fordworldrallyfan2 жыл бұрын
The top class Rallycross machines are unrestricted as far as turbo inlets go, and two liter displacement, so they make ~550 to almost 650 BHP, whereas (in this iteration/era of the WRC top class cars) the 1.6 liter displacement WRC cars made an inlet restricted ~300 BHP, or at least that was what they were 'supposed to be' limited to. 😉 The top class rallycross cars' engines are all in a 'north south', inline layout, the WRC cars use an 'east-west' transverse engine configuration. The rallycross cars are a bit lighter since they do not ever have to be road legal/usable, and have no functioning; headlights, horns, etc., and carry no co-driver, so only a driver's seat, no intercom, no rally computer/odometer, simpler/lighter wiring harnesses, etc. The driver's seat is allowed to be a bit more set back towards the center of the car in Rallycross, for better weight distribution, than the WRC cars are allowed. Unless they changed the World Rallycross rules later (??), the rallycross cars all used floor mounted sequential shifters, whereas the WRC cars, in the top class/level were permitted steering wheel paddle mounted shifters.
