Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of oil
2 medium-sized onions, sliced
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 chopped tomatoes
2 chopped green chilies
4 dry red chilies
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon methi seeds
3/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
500 grams chicken
1/2 cup Curd/Yogurt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1: Sautéing Aromatics
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
Add sliced onions and sauté for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell disappears.
Step 2: Tomatoes and Spice Blend
Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Continue frying for another 3 minutes.
In a grinder jar, combine dry red chilies, fennel seeds, methi seeds, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds. Grind into a fine powder.
