How to make Alkanet Root Infusion | Testing Natural Colourants | Natural Purple color in Handmade Soaps | Alkanet root soap | Alkanet root Infused Oil

Testing Natural Colorants Episode 1
Recipe for making Two Soaps each of 100 grams:
Ingredients for making Alkanet Root Infused Oil
Alkanet Root or Alkanet Root Powder - 5 grams
Olive Oil - 100 grams
Infuse the oil for 15 days
Ingredients for making Soap
Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) - 27.75 grams
Distilled Water - 45.3 grams
Oils:
Olive Oil, Pomace - 140 grams (70%)
Coconut Oil - 50 grams (25%)
Castor Oil - 10 grams (5%)
In one soap, I used 50% infused oil. That is, 35g (infused) + 35g (oliveoil)
In another soap, I used 30% infused oil. That is, 21g(infused) + 49g(oliveoil)
Infusion can be made with any liquid oils.
