I tried your tip. I made a soap with spirulina and it was really beautiful, but after some days it started to lose the strong green color. Do you know a way to make the color not fade? Or do you know some natural color stabilizer?
@micahthomas9521
@micahthomas9521 2 ай бұрын
I have the same question myself. I wonder if I infuse a base oil with the spirulina and let it sit for 6 weeks and then add a clay-maybe french green clay, - if that would help the color last longer. Clay helps anchor fragrances and I wonder if it would help the color last longer. The above video just shows her mixing the color in the oil - not infusing the color in, so after 6-8 weeks of curing, I wonder if any of these colors survived the SAP process

Hello. I would like to learn about soap making. And I want to learn if it could use natural colorant. I'm very newbie in this, so i have some questions about how to color the cold processed soap. Is the herb belonging to pigment? And if we pre mixing it with oil, is these oil counted as part of total oil in the formula or not?
@sarassoap
@sarassoap 2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Nice that you are learning how to soap. You can mix herbs with oils before and you could take it from the total oil amount. Although a small amount will not hurt. Hope this helps. Hugs
