How to Make Aloo and Peppers | Traditional Vegetarian Curry | With Tahreem

🛒 Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 small yellow pepper
- 3 medium potatoes (skin on or off)
- 2 teaspoons of chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 ½ cups of water
📖 Recipe
1) Thinly slice a medium-sized onion
2) Chop a medium-sized tomato
3) Add ½ cup of oil to the pan and add your onion
4) Whilst that’s cookin, chop a red bell pepper, green bell pepper and one small yellow pepper
5) After the onions turn a nice golden brown, add your tomato and a teaspoon of salt
6) Thinly slice 3 medium-sized potatoes (skin on or off)
7) Add your potatoes to the pan once your onions and tomatoes are nice and mushy
8) Now it’s time to add your spices: add 2 teaspoons of chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder and 1 teaspoon of cumin
9) Pour 1 cup of water to the pan to soften the potatoes (add another ½ cup later if necessary)
10) Leave that to cook for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are soft, then add your peppers
11) Cook for another few minutes so the peppers still have some crunch
12) Garnish with fresh corriander and then it’s ready to serve! Enjoy!
