How To Make AMAZINGLY delicious Dhal - Trinidadian Style | Trinidad Food | Caribbean Cooking
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup yellow split peas
10 cups water (approx)
Garlic
Hot pepper
Onion
1 tsp saffron powder
1/2 tsp roasted geera
Salt/Black Pepper
2 1/2 tbsp avocado oil
Green seasoning (optional)
Forgot to mention that you can add a small amount of green seasoning just before you chunkay.

So I have now learnt a new way to cook Dahl...I would usually put my geera and seasoning In heated pot then add my boiled blended dahl to it..thanks for sharing your version of cooking dahl I will definitely try it
