Old school trick. I was taught at an early age to tighten all the jaws on any chuck ie. lathe , Drill etc. It will make it tighter and remove any play in the chuck. It has worked for me for all these years.

I was wondering if you thought of taking the remaining part of the can, cutting it once lengthwise, and then using it as a wind screen? Of course, after smoothing or rounding the edges... Great video. Thanks!

very cool little project and nicely done. However I think your filing technique looked a little awkward and possibly dangerous and it might need some tweaking for safety! Would love to see a video on how you preduced the die to curl the top edge.

I heard 1 guy mention methanol race fuel and how it's cheap at only $4/gal. What is your opinion? I used a generic brand of EVERCLEAR called Mowhawk (still expensive at $15/liter) and it seems to burn real clean and not leave soot in the air or on the walls but i have yet to do a boil test to see if it leaves carbon deposits on pots. Can you do a boil test will both of those and tell us your opinion on how they rate with the other fuels you have mentioned on your website???
