Somehow this older video popped up on my iPad this morning and the first thing I thought of when I saw the lemonade was " I'd watch this but there's drinking." Hehehe I love this video and art journal/junk journal thingy! I dabble in all kinds of crafts and hobbies as well and I'm always trying new things and then going back to old ones, too. So much fun! Loved seeing this! I cut up my magazines way too much to use but I do this with fun thick papered books like Granny Chic! I used a FLOW magazine for my enmasse journal and this reminded me how much I loved doing that!

Do you glue some pages together before you begin to use the magazine? I love how pretty this is 🥰

I typically don’t glue any pages together if they are sturdy enough to withstand the acrylic paint. If it’s something I really don’t like and is hard to cover up then I would. Sometimes the Flow magazines have some different types of papers that can be pretty flimsy. I just made a new one that I’m going to share this week! Thanks for watching❤️😊

I love this! I want to subscribe to either flow or breathe magazine. They don't have them to buy single issues where I live, so I can't get a hold of one to see which I prefer... Do you have a preference between flow and breathe? My intent is to enjoy the articles and maybe use the nice paper after... but the content and how well it is written is also important to me.

That is really tough! Breath is very much about mindfulness and finding peace in a hectic life. I feel like flow is similar but not quite as mindfulness based. It’s more about the paper. They call it the “ magazine for paper lovers” so it’s more about the crafty papers and artistic things extras they include. At least that is my take, but go to each magazine’s website and I’m sure they can describe themselves much better than I can😉 Thank you for watching❤️

You know I never used to, but I’ve had a few things where I’ve had trouble with it sticking. I think it depends on the washi and what kind of paper you’re sticking it to. On the magazines I would glue sometimes, but in my Hobonichi journal I’ve never glued it🤷‍♀️ Basically I’m just flying by the seat of my pants😉

Hello, I'm doing the same, I've turned out my flow magazine into my daily journal @amateurlyjournaling in Ig. I confess I'm finding it really challenging sometimes... it takes wet media soooo badly! And I'm a messy journaler, I mean I don't mind wrinkling paper and shadowing, but still... It's being quite challenging, yet I'm loving the results.

I found an old mag but befor. I start I need to ask a ? Is it possible to get pictures out of my phone cause I do know how to take pictures in my phone but can I get them put on paper and how. ? Please be patient with me I really not up on technology for real I’m old just not up on that stuff live on a fixed income and trying to use what I have trying to get something to help me grieve my husband last year he passed away after a magical 40years To mush things to try and sell get organized and I’m complaining again Sorry for the rant

Don’t be embarrassed sweetheart! You can get pictures from your phone by taking it to CVS or Walgreens! Ask them to help you and you can get them printed. Does that help? There are also other ways, just let me know❤️
