I recently watched a stream from Dede Willingham, AKA, Inkwell where she shows how to make a mini magazine journal where you can store your ideas for future art project, create art that inspires you and whatever else you might want to put in here! She inspired me and MANY others to make one of these. I've been poking around YT looking for others to share how they made theirs and what they will do with them. I'm hooked! I hope you enjoy seeing how I did mine...

i love Dedes videos. you are starting the mini magazine journal, Meri & myself have started Dedes Playground journal which is made from full sized magazines and I just received in the mail the Abandoned Places book which is my favorite series that Dede is making. I am so happy that others are doing this and sharing their work. Your mini journal came out beautiful and look forward to seeing more!

Hi Jeri! My name is Wendy. I have just recently joined Dede's community on Ustream. It takes time to learn who everyone is and to observe proper etiquette during her streaming. I really enjoy the live streams. I'm trying to stay focused on the projects and learning more each time I watch. I really enjoyed watching this video. It's your take on how to create this journal. Sometimes, if I miss something, while watching Dede's video, it turns up on someone else's video. Or maybe, just watching, another person's video will add to my knowledge. For instance, I did not know about the hashtag. I'm not sure if I watched Dede's entire video on this topic. It's tough keeping up with everything and everyone. I live in my car. Going to a free Wi-Fi place, and plugging in, is the highlight of my day. Since I was evicted, in March, my car has become my best friend. I love living close to nature. The oncoming winter in New York will be very challenging. Cant say what I will do next. I guess I want to settle down. Not right now though. I'm still processing the emotions, I feel, having lost everything. I would never give up​ my daily art habit. The more supplies, I recoup, the better it feels. I just discovered Yes! paste a couple of months ago. All I can say is wow. What a difference! The pages lay flat minus the bubbles. It's a great adhesive. Coooool!! I made one of these too last year, so fun! I use mine (once it was all "reverse-collaged and painty and ooey-gooey) for subconcious writing - where you write whatever comes to mind... :D I love it! Dede's so great, I love her too! <3
