Casatiello Napoletano is something my Nonna Rosa taught me to make on her long trips to visit my family (6 months at a time) 🥰 I think of her when I make this every year and I know she is with me ❤️ Every family has their variation of it. We make ours with ‘Frittole’, which are pork bits that are rendered from making lard. But if you don’t have them Soppressata is a great substitute! I hope you enjoy my family’s version of this classic Neapolitan Easter Bread 🥰

Ingredients
INGREDIENTS
650 g Bread Flour
10 g Salt
200 g Warm Water
3 Eggs, room temp
90 g Lard
7 g Active Dry Yeast
Pepper to taste
Frittole (pork bits) or Cured meats of choice for sprinkling inside the dough
4-6 oz Sharp Provolone, cubed
